Novandi, a Company Specializing in Multimodal Logistics

By boat, train, or truck, Novandi offers to transport goods using intermodality. With three terminals in Belgium (Liège, Charleroi, and Avelgem), Novandi is the logistics solution for many companies located within a 50-kilometer radius of its terminals.

Present at the Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich, Vincent Brassinne, CEO of Novandi, takes advantage of the event to meet logistics players, advance ongoing projects, and finalize new ones.

His company, Novandi, specializes in multimodal logistics. "We handle transport by boat and by train—whether it's containers or indivisible loads, what we call breakbulk in the trade. We manage the first and last miles by truck to reach our clients. We have terminals in Liège, Charleroi, and Avelgem. Our job? It's truly to organize the entire logistics chain from A to Z for our clients, using intermodality as the mode of transport. We have strong ties with maritime shipping lines. We coordinate major freight movements. We have warehouses all over the world that allow us to unload goods, store them, and even repackage them if necessary," explains Vincent Brassinne.

Novandi transports all types of goods that can be placed in containers. "We handle a lot of steel products that pass through our warehouses. We also work in the chemical industry. We provide personnel to manage logistics operations directly within the factories. We also own our own ships, which mainly transport containers and bulk goods," adds Vincent Brassinne.

Novandi’s added value? "We can organize the entire logistics chain. We control our own ships, terminals, warehouses… It’s all our own staff. At the beginning, we only handled cargo operations, but today we can cover the entire value chain."

Among his clients, Vincent Brassinne counts SMEs and industries located within a 50 to 60-kilometer radius of Novandi’s terminals. "Some of our clients are larger companies with distribution or processing centers in Wallonia. But their decision-making centers are located all over the world. Our terminals are ecosystem builders for the industry."
